LOYO (League of Your Own) is an adult Baseball Mogul league. This is not saying that only adults may join but it is saying that we will not babysit you or what you say like other leagues. While course language isn't going to be cheered for and encouraged, we are champions of free speech and will not censor what you say unless it is highly offensive. (i.e. racial slurs) You know exactly what comes out of your mouth and we will recognize that. There will be no "Well he is only X years old so he doesn't know better." like you may see in other leagues. If you do not like what other members say, just ignore it (unless, as stated before, it is highly offensive beyond simple curse words.) In that case, make sure to inform the staff. You can be sure that we will take offensive statements deadly serious.

Trash talk will always be a part of any Mogul league and LOYO is no different. A general rule of thumb is this: if you can't take the trash talk, don't dish it out. Usually when people follow this, they will be spared the more hurtful trash talk. We will never censor trash talk unless it becomes overly personal and offensive.

You are given a very long leash in LOYO. Debatably, the longest leash of any Mogul league around. If you get a warning by any of the staff, you can be sure you are WAY over the line. If you are warned about your conduct, please take it seriously because you WILL NOT be given a third chance to repeat your same offense.

Finally, please make sure you read all the forum rules as well as the individual rules for each subforum when you have a question. A major goal in this league is to make the rules clear as glass and easy to find. If you have a question and couldn't find the answer in the rules sections posted, then please feel free to ask any of the staff. Just make sure you looked hard first.

We are thrilled you have chosen to join our league. It is a league championed on Democracy and solid management. The staff of LOYO work for you, not the other way around. You will always have a say when it comes to the league and if any rules are up for debate (where multiple options will not do drastic harm to the league), you can be assured that it will be up for a vote. This is our promise to you.

-I promise to voice my opinion concerning the league, but in a productive manner.
-I promise to recognize that while I have my freedom of speech, I will not use it for racial slurs or otherwise highly offensive remarks. (We all know exactly what these are.)
-I promise as a General Manager to lead my team in a positive direction for the future (either short term or long.)
-I promise that I have not blown this off just so I can finish registering faster and that I totally read all of this 100%. Really. I promise, guys.
