More disputes done as well as trades and releases..

Results of the polls are the AL will have the DH and the NL will not, like normal.

Simming will be two weeks per on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursdays. It was a close vote but this is what won and I'm not sure I would be comfortable with another simmer in the infancy of the league. We'll re-address it next season if everyone wishes.

Sim 1 will be tomorrow night. I will talk to everyone tomorrow and see what times will work for them since I would like to have a big turnout for the live sim. The chat will held in a AIM chatroom I will create tomorrow.

Amateur Draft complete. Not many people showed, despite the number saying they would. Very disappointing for a young, promising league.

Baltimore, Boston, Cleveland, Houston, Angels, Minnesota, Seattle and St. Louis are all open and we really need to get them filled. This is the time that determines if leagues will live or die so let's make sure we live.

The draft, Ugh... I know I know if I want a particular player, I should have been there. But Really??? I got a 71/81 Catcher drafted for me, and Carlo Bole was drafted a few spots after mine?? I have Buster Posey, what the heck am I going to do with a 71/81 catcher!!! :)

Ok, thats all. I just needed to vent. (Im not trying to be difficult, i know Admins put ALOT of work into this league and its not like they get paid or anything. So otherwise, keep up the good work!)

New rules!

Empty teams may now be traded with through me!

Empty teams MUST be receiving peaked major leaguers and they must be receiving fair value. I will be a strong advocate for these teams and no deals will come easy. These teams must be getting players they can compete with!

I am requiring that they receive peaked players so they have a chance to compete against the managed teams, meanwhile be able to receive compensation picks and be able to compete in the future.

All negotiations will take place on AIM so feel free to IM or PM me with offers and we will discuss it.

I think this is a good idea, but I have a suggestion to add to it. The reason these teams are open (and in any mogul league for that matter), is usually because their talent level is sub-par. To compensate for that, maybe you could intentionally create bidding wars of sorts. Once a trade is agreed upon between yourself and a GM, I think it should be posted for 24 hours to allow other teams to make a better offer for the player at hand. Just a suggestion to get more talent into these teams faster...

And my lineup wasn't inputted... that's great. It's going to be hard enough already to make the playoffs. Having Jose Reyes playing catcher, and my best player, Han-Ram, on the bench... But don't worry, Reyes only allowed 26 SB's and 5 PB's in less than 100 innings. Good showing.

I wonder if it would be easier just to put all the lineups in one thread for each sim. Instead of multiple threads for each team.
